JAC 12th Result 2026: The Jharkhand Academic Council is preparing to announce the Class 12 results soon. The board may officially declare the result date and time at any moment. Once released, students will be able to check their results online easily using their roll number and date of birth.
Where and How to Check JAC 12th Result
After the result is announced, students will be able to check their scores on multiple platforms. First, the result link will be activated on the official websites jacresults.com and jac.jharkhand.gov.in. In addition, marksheets will also be available on digital platforms such as DigiLocker and UMANG. Students can view their results by entering their roll number, roll code, and date of birth.
Important Exam Details
This year, more than 3.75 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board examination. The exams were conducted between 3 February and 24 February 2026. The board has completed the evaluation process, and the result is now in the final stage of preparation. An official announcement is expected very soon.
What Students Will Receive After the Result
Once the result is declared, students will receive an online digital marksheet, which will be provisional in nature. The original marksheet and other official documents will be distributed later through the respective schools. For now, students can use the digital marksheet for admission and other immediate purposes.
Minimum Passing Marks Required
According to Jharkhand Board rules, students must score at least 33% overall to pass. If a subject carries 100 marks, a student must score at least 33 marks in that subject. For a subject carrying 70 marks, at least 23 marks are required. A student will be considered passed only after securing the minimum required marks in all subjects.
Easy Explanation of the Grading System
This year, the grading system will also be applied in the result to help students understand their performance more easily. Students scoring 80% or above will receive an A+ grade, which is considered the highest. Those scoring between 60% and 80% will receive an A grade, 46% to 60% will get a B grade, and 33% to 46% will receive a C grade. Students scoring below 33% will be given a D grade, which is considered a failing grade.
Grace Marks May Provide Relief
If a student fails in one or two subjects by a small margin, the board also has a provision to award grace marks. This can help many students pass and save their academic year.
